There is a fantastic crew of enthusiasts sharing the magic of Madeira. Many professional guides with deep knowledge of the region will accompany and direct bigger groups (6+pax.) across the special landscapes. They usually accompany a group during most of their stay here - however only for 4h or 8h in a given day, depending on your own request!
Seven Days in Madeira
*always remember this can be finetuned to desired taste (or if prefered, totally arranged by us), but these examples are very sucessful combinations
Day 1 — Arrival
Funchal greets you. Hotel arrival, settling-in and familiarizing

Evening walk along the marina — dinner with local flavors and gentle immersion into Madeira’s rhythm.
Day 2 — Heights · Feet wet · Warm-up
Rise & Shine
Vereda do Larano - first along Levada dos Marrocos, after through the old sales way to Porto da Cruz (12 km - 3.5h). Visiting Porto da Cruz, then possibility of swimming in the ocean or Vereda Pena da Águia 590m (3km - 2.5h). Optional wine tasting at dusk, under a soft Atlantic glow.
Day 3 — Leviathans · Motion · Silence
Through the Laurisilva's roots rise vulcano giants.
Encumeada (1007m) - Pico Ruivo (1862m) - Pico do Areeiro (1810m). One of the most special trifectas. (17km -7h)
Day 4 — A special recipe
Belly of the beast + Coastal awe
Cristo Rei - Encumeada. Starting from Paúl da Serra down to Caleta, Ponta do Sol and Ribeira Brava ( south-west part of Madeira and my personal favourite) - countless waterfalls, many tunnels with the longest one of 40m. (10km - 4.5h)
Evening at leisure with ocean scents and fresh seafood.
Day 5 — Waterways · Reflection
Levadas are part of the Madeiran identity - waterways embedded unto the land. Paths that follow the heartbeat of the island — moss, mist, and light. Levada Ribeira da Janela - from Fonte do Bispo to Lamaceiros, lots of tunnels. After, a stop in Porto Moniz - swimming in natural pools bathed directly by the sea. (20km - 7h)
Day 6 — Forest · Cauldron · Horizon
A keeper
Encumeada - Pico Grande - Boca dos Namorados. From Encumeada to Pico Grande, views to Curral das Freiras (14km - 5h). In the evening possibility to go by ferry and stay overnight in the golden paradise island of Porto Santo.
Day 7 — Oasis
Free day or Trekking in Porto Santo Pico Branco - Terra cha (7km - 2.5h). Lunch and afterwards hiking: Pico Juliana - Pico do Facho - Pico do Castelo (7km - 3h). After swimming, return to the main island of Madeira.
Day 8 — The return · Golden Quiet
